Improving Poetry Writing Skills with the Think Talk Write Model

This study aims to determine the improvement of poetry writing skills with Think Talk Write model. The method used in this research is a class action design (CAR). was conducted two phases, which consisted planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques were tests, observations, interviews.The data analysis technique uses quantitative methods accompanied by descriptive analysis. results showed that test experienced an increase pre-cycle learning, cycle I II. average value 60.21, first averaged 66.86, second 76.04. Improving learning process students who take part even more optimal before after activities compared II activities.Keywords: Poetry skills, think talk write
